What a way to kick off 2022 with our best ever January meeting! It was very exciting that we had a member of the new Lead Agency, Family Support Services of North Florida, introduce themselves and talk about what lies ahead for the child welfare system. We had some of our community partners share the Christmas Giving stories that brought both tears and smiles, we had new faces and new members excited to be a part of our Angel TEAM. Our meeting was very informative and very well attended. We would like to invite all of our community partners to attend our meetings and be a part of keeping our Angel members in the know. Family Support Services is eager to meet all of you by being a part of our monthly meetings and feel like we could grow our Angel Meetings by sending a representative from each of our community partners to share. There are some exciting things happening in our community in 2022, and it will take all of us to make a difference in the lives of the children we advocate for 24/7.

Our Angel Brunch Bunch event will be our first fashion show event. It will be an afternoon of fun, door prizes, raffle items, a buffet brunch and a fashion show by JoJo’s Boutique, St Pete Beach. The Angels will be inducting the The St Pete Glitter Queens into our Archangel Hall of Fame at our 2022 annual event. Break out your tiaras Queens, it is going to be a night to remember. We will have great music, food, entertainment, but most of all our guests will still know why the Angels do what they do in our community. Thanks to this amazing group of women, they chose Angels Against Abuse as their charity of choice in 2015 and helped us make a difference in the lives of the children and families we advocate for 24/7.
