It is hard to believe but June and July have slipped by and it is time to get back into the groove with Angel Business starting in August!
The Angels are busy bees and have really been making a difference in the lives of the children and youth over the past few months. We have accomplished so many wonderful things that you will have a chance to hear about at our upcoming August Angel Meeting. Many of our community partners will be attending and sharing the MAGIC that the Angels are known for. You won’t want to miss the news, so please mark your calendars .

A message from April – I felt more excited than I anticipated – it is simply beautiful. It is even more than I had hoped for and accomplished my goal of the room feeling like there were several different spaces to visit all with in the same room!
I will never be able to thank the Angels enough for what they have done and for being such a wonderful support to me and the children we serve. I have asked myself “what have I done to deserve the angels?” And I have asked myself “where have the Angels been all my life”.

ATTENTION PLEASE! We just went live for signing up for the 2018 Child Advocacy Expo! Let’s make this our best EXPO ever and bring in some new faces to join in the fun of networking and joining forces to make more of a difference in the lives of the children and youth we advocate for. Every year our guests walk away with new knowledge and new friends. We are planning on getting the students interested in finding jobs in the fields that each of you work and this would be an excellent opportunity to recruit some students and talent which is so needed in our industry. Let’s join together and make this year’s Expo an event to remember! We would like to challenge our attending guests to bring 5 new community partners who have never attended to let this be their first Child Advocacy Expo. The more involvement by our community partners, the more difference we can make in our communities.

Thank you Sunshine Kiwanis Club for keeping the Mad Hatter Tea Party going! This year the famous Mad Hatter Tea Party will be held Sunday, September 30th, 2018 at the same location, hosted by the Sunshine Kiwanis Club. There is nothing like creating a memory for a child who often has little to smile about and it was the Angel’s honor and privilege to pass the baton to this wonderful organization to keep this legacy alive. For those of you who can help with this event and would like to volunteer for please contact Sandy Kearney so we make sure we do our part to help make this day the success that we have enjoyed the last six years.
