The Blue Ribbon Gala is rapidly approaching and we need your help to make it a success. This is the Angel’s only fundraiser that sustains the many program we provide to the children in our community who are victims of abuse and neglect. All the information you need to help with this event is below. Just click on the different links for all the details.
We would like to ask that you bring in your baskets and gift cards to our March 12th meeting so we can start putting them together. The basket ideas are included in this newsletter. Once you choose a basket theme, please let me know so we can avoid duplication.
We thank each of you for all your support.

BLUE RIBBON GALA 2019
APRIL 27TH 2019
ST PETE YACHT CLUB
6:30 PM TO 11:00 PM

It is that time of year for the Angels to start the ball rolling for our Annual Fundraiser, our famous BLUE RIBBON GALA. Every year we have an event that is not only beautiful and memorable, but everyone walks away knowing who we are and what we do! This year our theme is “What’s Behind the Mask – HOPE – and it will be a night to remember.
There are several documents we are including in this month’s Newsletter that will be very helpful to the Angels if we can get an early start on Donations and Sponsorships. We would love to have a sell-out for this event by March 1st 2019 and we need 35 sponsors to make that happen.

If you are a member of the SPYC, you will not be charged for parking. If you are not a member, make sure you advise the valet that you are attending the Angels Blue Ribbon Gala. Also, if you want to by-pass the lines for getting drinks from the bar, if you are a member, you don’t have to purchase tickets, just give the bartender your member number. If you are not a member, you may want to buy multiple tickets so you do not have to wait in line several times. We have made arrangements with the SPYC for anyone wanting to purchase wine for their tables, they may do so.
We want this night to be enjoyable for everyone and we have tried to take care of some of the frustrations from last year. We appreciate your patience and your understanding. This night is very special for the Angels to give HOPE to children for a better tomorrow!

Each of us can look back upon someone who made a great difference in our lives, often a teacher or a volunteer whose wisdom or simple acts of caring made an impression. In all likelihood, it was someone who sought no recognition for their deed other than the joy of knowing that, by their hand, another’s life had been made better. God Bless our Volunteers!
