Our special Angels were ready at 8:00 am to get the party started and what a party it was. This group of amazing people who host this event really know how to throw a party! We met so many amazing people with generous hearts who now know more about our Angels and their mission than before they started their day! We are so grateful for the Beer Breakfast Gang who chose the Angels for the 2018 Charity of Choice. Congratulations to Gina Wilkins, The Kind Mouse, who will be the Charity of Choice for 2019! As soon as we get our final numbers put together, we will send off another email blast to report the Good News!

Thank you Sunshine Kiwanis Club for keeping the Mad Hatter Tea Party going! This year the famous Mad Hatter Tea Party will be held Sunday, September 30th, 2018 at the same location, hosted by the Sunshine Kiwanis Club. There is nothing like creating a memory for a child who often has little to smile about and it was the Angel’s honor and privilege to pass the baton to this wonderful organization to keep this legacy alive. For those of you who can help with this event and would like to volunteer for please contact Sandy Kearney so we make sure we do our part to help make this day the success that we have enjoyed the last six years.
The St Pete Glitter Queen Ball will be Friday, September 21st, 2018 at the Roosevelt Marriott Hotel. Please stay tuned for details to follow throughout the year. MAD HATTER TEA PARTY 2018
Good News for Angels Against Abuse, Inc! We thought 2017 would be our final year for the highly anticipated FAMOUS Mad Hatter Tea Party! Thanks to the generosity of the Sunshine Kiwanis Club of St Petersburg, FL, this legacy will continue on!
We would like to thank Allen and the Sunshine Kiwanis Club for hosting the Mad Hatter Tea Party this year. Thanks to them the children in foster care will get to have another magic filled day with Alice and all of her friends.
Please note that the next Tea Party will be on a Sunday vs Saturday so please make sure all of our guests know the “day” change so plans can be made in advance. As always, it will be a fun party for all of our guests and the Angels will be there in full swing to help the Kiwanis Club create another great year for the Mad Hatter Tea Party!
