Our Mission

Where Children Feel Safe

The Angel Visitation Center, a program of Angels Against Abuse, provides a safe, nurturing, and child-focused environment where children in the foster care system can maintain meaningful connections with their families while parents work toward reunification. Serving families throughout Pinellas and Pasco Counties, the Center supports the dependency court system by offering supervised visitation services that promote safety, healing, and positive family relationships.

Now entering its 11th year of operation, the Center continues to provide high-quality services in a welcoming, family-friendly setting — looking as warm, inviting, and child-centered today as it did when it first opened its doors. Families typically participate in supervised visits lasting two or four hours each week, and often remain engaged with the program for up to one year while working their court-ordered case plans.

Made possible by the generous hearts of Nick and Kay Catizone and inspired by the Dolphin Tale films in partnership with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the murals and decor create a soothing, welcoming atmosphere from the moment a child walks through the door. The facility is the only one of its kind in Pinellas and Pasco Counties dedicated solely to the comfort of children during supervised visits, and is presently operating at full capacity.

Our four age-specific rooms ensure every child — from infant to older youth — has a space designed for them. Visitation staff evaluate parent behavior to determine what is in the best interest of each child, with cameras in all visitation areas to ensure safety. Conveniently located on a main bus route across from Family Support Services Suncoast and the Florida DCF. Tours are welcomed — contact us at ashley@angelsagainstabuse.org to schedule.
